How to convert WebP to JPG

Supported formats
WebP in, JPG out. Still images only — an animated WebP is converted using its first frame.
Important limitations
Worth knowing before you start, so nothing here comes as a surprise at the point you are submitting a form:
- Transparency is replaced with a solid colour, because JPG cannot store it.
- Animated WebP files are converted as a single frame only.
- The JPG may be larger than the WebP. WebP is a newer, more efficient format; converting to JPG trades size for compatibility.
How your files are handled
This tool does its work using your browser’s own image and document engine. Your file is read from your device into the page’s memory, processed there, and offered back to you as a download. It is never sent to Fyleit, never written to a server, and never stored anywhere we can reach.
You can verify that for yourself: load this page, disconnect from the internet, and the tool still works. That is also why there is no sign-up and no email field — we have nothing to attach an account to.
Common problems
I cannot find my WebP file in the picker.
Some file pickers hide it by default. Switch the picker’s filter to "All files", or drag the file onto the upload area instead.
The file will not convert.
Animated WebP files and some unusual variants are not supported by every browser. Try a different browser, or take a screenshot of the image as a fallback.
