How to split a PDF
- Choose your PDF. The page count appears once it is read.
- Enter the pages you want, such as 1-3, 7.
- Choose whether to produce one file containing those pages, or a separate file per page.
- Split, then download.

Important limitations
Worth knowing before you start, so nothing here comes as a surprise at the point you are submitting a form:
- Extracted pages keep their original size and quality. Splitting does not compress anything.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
- Form fields and digital signatures are not preserved in the extracted pages.
How your files are handled
This tool does its work using your browser’s own image and document engine. Your file is read from your device into the page’s memory, processed there, and offered back to you as a download. It is never sent to Fyleit, never written to a server, and never stored anywhere we can reach.
You can verify that for yourself: load this page, disconnect from the internet, and the tool still works. That is also why there is no sign-up and no email field — we have nothing to attach an account to.
Common problems
My page range was rejected.
Use page numbers separated by commas and hyphens, like 1-3, 7. Numbers outside the document are ignored, and the page count is shown above the box.
I want to remove pages, not extract them.
Enter the pages you want to keep. A document of ten pages with page 4 removed is the range 1-3, 5-10.
